ASI Controls and Smart Controls Announce Joint Venture to Deliver Integrated Building Automation Solutions

[Fairview Heights, IL and Pleasanton, CA — September 18, 2025] — ASI Controls and Smart Controls today announced a joint venture to develop a new family of integrated building automation products that combine hardware and software into a single, comprehensive solution.

This partnership brings together ASI Controls’ and Smart Controls’ expertise in hardware development and advanced software capabilities to offer a complete solution for commercial building management—from smartphone to cloud.

Initial product development will focus on innovative technologies such as Single Pair Ethernet [10BASE-T1L], BACnet protocol integration, and next-generation application programming designed for more connected buildings. The goal is to deliver not just standalone devices, but full system solutions that simplify building control and improve operational efficiency.
