ASI Controls Training Program

ASI resellers achieve proficiency configuring and installing ASI products through the ASI Controls training program. We regularly offer classroom training at locations around the country, complemented by instructor-led online training.

ASI Essential Training is the foundation of the program. This hands-on course extensively covers the ASIC/1 line of pre-programmed controllers and the ASIC/2 line of configurable controllers, and ASI Visual Expert configuration and user interface software. The Essentials class also introduces students to the WebLink web-enabled front end, ASI OPC Server, and related products and software. Tuition costs cover control equipment, software, licensing, and everything needed to master the context of the training course. The control equipment and software are yours to take home to your bench so you can reference the training samples for future projects.

Regional Training classes typically last 3 days and cover topics such as ASI WebLink, Visual Expert, Monitor and other software in more detail. Regional Training classes are available to authorized reseller personnel who have completed the Essentials class.

ASI Controls also offers instructor-led online training classes covering subjects as needed by resellers. These classes are usually 60 to 90 minutes in duration and delivered to the student's web browser. Students interact with the instructor by phone, so there's always time for questions and answers. A video recording of the class can be downloaded from the ASI website afterwards to reinforce the learning experience. Completion of Essential Training is a prerequisite for most online training courses.
