Unified Web Front End for Intelligent BuildingsWebLink is a web browser based interface providing real-time displays of
building control system information, and is the heart of the ASI unified intelligent building interface. WebLink users
can easily be setup to access ASI ZoneDial afterhours overrides
management software over a single sign-on integration. WebLink also seamlessly integrates
CCTV and DVR video feeds, access control, and other building control web servers to provide
a truly comprehensive building automation system front end. Automated notifications can be sent individual recipients, or
a group, via cell phone or email. You manage user logins, and grant security privileges appropriate to the level of responsibility.
You control what data shows up on each view screen, and who can change setpoints or other system parameters.
WebLink connects ASI systems to the internet, and can also be used on an intranet or direct connection. |
Energy Use Accounting and Invoicing for Cost Recovery
ZoneDial provides users with a web browser and/or telephone interface with which to manage afterhours overrides and other building services on an ASI Controls building automation system. Features include tenant self-administration, unlimited scheduling of future overrides, optional tenant invoice previews, formatted tenant invoices, and more. ZoneDial creates an audit trail for every step of a users interaction, providing detailed information to resolve any billing questions. An ASI Controls integrated solution combining WebLink and ZoneDial enables scheduling of energy use with accountability, can reduce building engineering and management support requirements, delivers automated system event notifications via email or text message, and simplifies tenant energy cost recovery. ZoneDial can be deployed in conjunction with WebLink to provide a smoothly integrated single sign-on experience for users. WebLink provides security filtering by role, group, and login to enable context-appropriate access for every building user. |
Graphical Drag-and-Drop Controller Configuration
ASI Visual Expert drag and drop graphical configuration software provides visual programming of ASIC/2 configurable controllers. Data is displayed live on the configuration screen to simplify initial setup and assist with remote troubleshooting. This Microsoft Windows based application includes drag and drop assembly of control sequences, intuitive "connect the inputs and outputs" logic, self-generated HTML bitmaps to document the project control sequences and more. Portions of a sequence can be exported as a function group and re-used on other projects, boosting your productivity and enhancing quality control. Visual Expert simplifies the job of configuring building automation controls so you can focus on the bigger picture without getting bogged down in line by line programming.
ASI Controls offers the ASI LinkOPC Server to enable connectivity to other controls manufacturers' OPC Servers. OPC is a data exchange standard that is commonly used in industrial process control settings. With hardware and software that supports the OPC standards, users can interoperate OPC enabled controllers and devices from multiple manufacturers. |
The EtherLink/2 enables cost-effective communication with ASI controllers and control systems via an Ethernet TCP/IP local area or wide area network (LAN or WAN). Supported USB Ethernet adapters enable very low-cost Ethernet connectivity for a single ASIC/2-7540 configurable controller by leveraging the controller's built-in USB port. The ETH-8540 Ethernet Expansion Board is an optional extension board that plugs into the ASIC/2-8540 controller to provide cost-effective Ethernet connectivity for a single controller.
With features like the choice for Ethernet connectivity via USB port, extension board, and the Etherlink/2, ASI Controls continues innovating to cost-effectively meet the evolving needs of control systems users.
