WS-051 Digital Wall Sensor for ASIC/1 controllers

The WS-051 digital display zone temperature sensor works with ASIC/1 pre-programmed controllers. The WS-051 has an identical form and color to the WS-MOD digital display wall sensor. The WS-MOD is compatible with ASIC/2 configurable controllers, providing a consistent look for systems using sensors connected to both ASIC/1 pre-programmed and ASIC/2 configurable controllers. LCD display panel enables reading of ambient zone temperature and changing setpoints. Pushbuttons enable editing of setpoints and modes, and user initiation of afterhours overrides.

A communication jack connects to the portable SINC/1-1030 Mini-SINC, either in standalone mode or connected to a laptop or PocketPC computer. Using ASI Visual Expert software, the user is able to read and reset the setpoints and parameters of the local controller as well as other ASIC/1 controllers. Air balancing, setpoint adjustment and all system startup can be accomplished from the WS sensor. The wall mounted sensor utilizes a precision thermistor to measure and display the zone temperature. The thermistor's high change of resistance creates a large signal that reduces or eliminates lead wire resistance problems.
