ASI Controls Showing New Products at AHR Expo 2006
San Ramon, CA, December 9th, 2006 – ASI Controls will debut three new products at AHR Expo 2006. ASI will be demonstrating WebLink 2.0, the new release of ASI’s secure, intuitive web browser front end for digital control systems, and will also be introducing the ASIC/2-7540 configurable controller with USB interface and the ASIC/2-8540 configurable controller.
WebLink 2.0 features include OPC and ODBC connectivity, support for SSL/HTTPS, onscreen graphing and reporting of trend data, exporting of trend data in CSV format, an integrated library of HVAC graphics, and more standard features to enable creation of secure and easy to use control system graphical user interfaces.
The ASIC/2-7540 is an Ethernet ready configurable controller whose applications include standalone facility control, networked control of large systems, and control of mechanical equipment. The 7540 comes with 16 universal inputs and 12 relay and 8 analog outputs. The new USB port bridges the gap between affordable, PC-oriented commodity products and digital control systems, and brings plug-and-play convenience for peripherals including USB-Ethernet converters and USB modems. The 7540 is flash-upgradeable in the field, allowing future incorporation of other low-cost USB devices as ASI Controls drivers become available.
The new ASIC/2-8540 is built upon the reliable and proven ASIC/2-7540 and ASIC/1-8655 platforms. Featuring 8 universal inputs and 8 relay and 4 analog outputs, it provides configurable control for smaller facilities, networks or equipment at a compelling price point.
The new products are being introduced on ASI Controls 20th anniversary. From its founding, ASI has delivered innovative and flexible products that enable ASI resellers to create reliable, cost-effective solutions.
