ASI Controls Releases Updated WebLink HMI
ODBC Connectivity and OPC Server-to-Server Data Binding Featured
Friday, March 25, 2005
San Ramon, CA – ASI Controls announces a new release of ASI WebLink, the user interface for OPC systems. Enhancements in this update include:
Ø ODBC Queries - dynamic web display, scheduled refresh, integrate with Enterprise data sources.
Ø Data Analysis - easy web graphs and reports, scheduled archival reports, export to Excel.
Ø Performance - real-time web updates from multiple OPC and ODBC sources, unlimited tag count.
Ø Protocol bridging - use OPC Server-to-Server data binding to integrate systems from different manufacturers.
“Our customers and their end users want interoperable systems” said Paul Chapman, ASI Controls Chief Technology Officer. “We’re excited to offer the ability to pull data from any ODBC source, and OPC data binding gives our customers more flexibility to integrate OPC systems from different manufacturers.”
“Our beta users gave very positive feedback on the added features in the new release of WebLink,” said Francis Chapman, ASI Controls Director of Sales & Marketing. “With a secure login on a web browser, users can browse graphical views, monitor real-time data, generate graphs and reports, and export data to Microsoft Excel or other applications. With ODBC connectivity, WebLink now enables users to combine their Enterprise data with data from OPC systems.”
WebLink is the core component of the asic.NET Suite, a cost-effective, scalable and secure SCADA system. The asic.NET Suite is a complete toolkit to build robust web interfaces to OPC and ODBC data sources over LAN/WAN and Internet connections.
