San Ramon, CA – ASI Controls, a leading provider of Direct Digital Control solutions, today announced general availability of their online tutorial with an overview of ASI products, their features, and how they are configured.

“We’re pleased to offer everyone access to the ASI Controls online tutorial,” said Bill Chapman, ASI Controls President.  “Our partner resellers and integrators have found it very helpful to reference this type of information from any browser, and many have incorporated the tutorial into their own internal training.  We think it can also be an excellent resource for potential new partners looking for more details on our products.”

The tutorial is online at: http://www.asicontrols.com/tutorial/index.html

The tutorial guides new users through a first look at ASI hardware and software, and previews the hands-on experience of an ASI Training Class.  The overview provides a brief introduction to ASI hardware, including preconfigured ASIC/1 controllers, configurable ASIC/2 controllers, and the WS-051 sensor.  The software section introduces the ASIC.net software suite, which includes the ASI WebLink (a graphical user interface to monitor and control the system), ASI OPC Server (enabling interoperability between ASI digital controls and OPC-enabled digital controls from other manufacturers), and ASI Monitor (alarm management, monitoring, and history/trending) software applications.
